here is a pretty cool video about a small 2-seater car that is very lightweight and battery powered that can be re-charged by using a small wind turbine.  the car can be powered entirely by harnessing the power of the wind – towards the end of the short video, they even use a wind-surfing style kite to pull the car down the road.
