if you’re like most of us right now – stuck at home in some type of “stay in place” or “shelter in place” due to the corona virus pandemic, here’s a sailing documentary that you might check out:
the true story of “the worst sailor to ever sail around the world.”
for more information, you can check out the “Chasing Bubbles” website: http://www.chasingbubblesmovie.com/
if you just want to check out the preview first to see if it looks interesting, here is the official trailer:
I’ve not watched the full documentary yet, but will try to in the next couple days.
At least he’s sailing. It looks like all 7 of the races I was planning on this year are being canceled. I was pretty upset, until I remembered what others are going thru. The boat ramps here in PA are still open, so maybe I can at least get some practice in. I’d at least like to get a few pictures taken.
Hope you find some time to get out on the water, as well!

Thanks Clyde, stay safe out there! I’m hoping that solo sailing isn’t restricted for any reason this summer.

Frustratingly our local harbour master has closed the river even to rowing on the basis that if we get in to difficulties it might put his staff and emergency services at risk of infection
Hope you’re getting through this OK

Max, I’m worried that’s where we are headed. I’ve not heard of similar shutdowns yet but it wouldn’t surprise me at all. Stay safe.
