yeah, the Tall Ships come to the Great Lakes once in a while but I haven’t been able to go see them yet.

the tall ships are headed for buffalo ny this weekend and they are anchored in the bay near my summer home. I saiied out on my hobie today to get some pics and chase them around. the ships are even more awe inspiring when you are sailing next to them.

I checked – they are in Bay City, MI, but the timing doesn’t work well for me. I might have to see if one of the Canada dates nearby work any better when they swing back through in early August.
