sailfish restoration

I stumbled on some great pictures of the before and after restoration of a Sailfish sailboat.

a “before” photo:

the Sailfish was the precursor to the Sunfish style of sailboat that I sail today.  it was a similar “board” boat, this one without any type of cockpit or hull.  just some wooden rails along the edges – and you’d sit right up on top of the deck.

an “after” photo:

the Irish Boat Shop certainly did a fine job – she’s a great looking boat now, and I’m sure will last several more years for its owner.

Looks like it might almost do double duty as a stand up paddle board. – really nice restoration job
