TACS adaptive sailing program [video]

the Traverse Area Community Sailing (TACS) has been developing an Adaptive Sailing program that is:

inclusive to individuals with all abilities, including but not limited to those with physicals and/or cognitive delays, senior citizens, veterans, and those with critical health concerns.  Easy access is the key to providing services for all, and the Cornwell Sailing Center provides barrier free docks, lifts and equipment.

TACS is working with the Disability Network of Northern Michigan to coordinate the program.  it looks like a pretty awesome program – volunteers to help with the sailing program are always needed and donations are encouraged to help fund scholarships for participants in the program.
