Wet Lab – students in water – a Waterlust film

another great video created by the Waterlust team – this time of students:

in the MPS program (mps.rsmas.miami.edu) at the Rosenstiel School of Marine & Atmospheric Science bring cameras into the field to document a day in the life of a graduate student.

base jumping at Dean’s Blue Hole [video]

this made the rounds a few months ago, but I was reminded of it today.

World champion freediver Guillaume Nery special dive at Dean’s Blue Hole, the deepest blue hole in the world filmed entirely on breath hold by the french champion Julie Gautier. This video is a FICTION and an ARTISTIC PROJECT.

GoPro: shark riders [video]

a sweet video of diving near the Bahamas, all shot with a GoPro video camera and the GoPro dive housing.

load it up in HD and watch full screen – it is pretty amazing footage.

HT: Moldy Chum

the waterlust project

this is a sweet video project shot entirely using GoPro Hero 2 video cameras: the project is mean to “explore our relationships with water.”

there is some sweet shots of various on-the-water activities: sailing, swimming, diving, fishing, kite surfing, moth sailing (there is a sweet scene at about 4:40 in the video of a moth sailor “running on the water” along the side of his sailboat), wind surfing, and various other water sports.

[you'll have to click through to Youtube to watch the video.]
