this is a pretty sweet video of Sunfish sailing in Aruba. the Sunfish are flying across the water!
thanks to RL from the SunfishSailor blog for sharing it with me (via good ol’ fashioned email, not this new-fangled thing called Facebook!).

Lol. Thanks for the hat tip.
anytime!
I used to sail in NJ with a guy who sailed Sunfish in Aruba. One evening over a few beers he told us this tale about the annual cruise they used to make from Aruba to Venezuela in Sunfish. About 30 miles of open water with 12 foot swells and 20 mph winds. Of staying in some fishing village for the night in Venezuela, sleeping in hammocks, fighting off mosquitos and cockroaches. Breakfasts of local delicacies in the fishermen’s homes. And then 30 miles sailing back to Aruba the next day.
All lies of course.
moral of the story: never trust a man from NJ?
or maybe it’s a man from Aruba?
Hey…………
I thought that might bring you out of the woodwork!
I think the moral is, never trust what you hear after Wednesday night sailing over beer and pizza.
